The LGBTQ+ Pay Gap Analysis

The LGBTQ+ Pay Gap Analysis is a pioneering initiative by GEO Foundation aimed at strengthening inclusion and equality in Dutch organizations. By participating, your organization contributes to a national benchmark that will shape future policy, increase transparency, and foster an inclusive work culture.

This first-of-its-kind study goes beyond traditional gender pay gap analysis to include LGBTQ+ employees, people with migration backgrounds, and people with disabilities – providing unprecedented insights into compensation equality

Why this matters now

Hidden Inequalities

Nobody finds it fair that certain groups structurally earn less. Research shows this still happens – not just between men and women, but also for LGBTQ+ employees, people with migration backgrounds, and people with disabilities. Today, these differences often remain invisible and unmeasured.

Upcoming Legislation

From 2026, there's a legal obligation to report gender pay equality. That's an important step forward, but a limited one. By looking broader than just gender now, your organization goes beyond minimum compliance and takes a leadership role in transparency and inclusion.

Competitive Advantage

Not acting means missing opportunities to retain talent and risking falling behind in an evolving landscape of social responsibility. Organizations that lead on inclusion attract better talent and build stronger reputations.
